Disclaimer

Givepact Charitable Foundation has applied to the Internal Revenue Service for recognition that it is a tax-exempt charitable organization described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions. When the IRS recognizes our tax exemption, which we fully expect, the exemption will be retroactive to the date of our incorporation, September 22, 2022. Therefore, you may take a tax deduction for contributions made now to the Foundation, and we are grateful for your generous support of our mission. However, please understand that, if you deduct your contribution, there is some risk that the IRS will deny our tax-exempt status. We certainly do not expect that outcome but we cannot make a guarantee. If that should happen, you may have to file an amended tax return later to reverse your tax deduction.
